needles Townhomes

The Needles Townhomes are located in the heart of the San Juan Mountains at the base of the Hermosa Cliffs. We are 23 miles north of Durango and 3 miles south of Purgatory Ski Area at 8700 feet in high alpine forest. The Elbert Creek trail, located directly across the highway, offers access to the famous Colorado Trail and the National Forest. The "infamous" Olde Schoolhouse Restaurant and Bar is next door, offering great pizza and other Italian dishes. There is a convenience store, gas station, and liquor store nearby. Fine dining is located just down the road at the Sow's Ear.

Each townhome features a fireplace, jacuzzi tub in the master bath, ground floor access and private garage. Kitchens are fully equipped, you need only bring your groceries. We offer free WIFI and domestic long distance is included. The property has a seasonal creek with picnic tables and BBQ area with gas grills. After a long day hiking and exploring, relax in the community hot-tub.
